Privacy policy

Choreo is built local-first. The short version of this policy: your choreography stays on your device unless you deliberately send it somewhere, and we collect as little as we can get away with.

1. What we don't collect

The free editor requires no account and sends none of your creative work to us. Routines, songs, moves, formations, and recordings you make in the free editor are stored in your browser on your device. We cannot see them, and we do not want to.

2. What we collect, and why

Basic site analytics. Standard server logs for this website (pages requested, approximate region, browser type) to keep the site working and understand what's useful. No advertising trackers.

Account data on paid plans. If you create an account for cloud sync or sharing, we store your email address, plan details, and the routines you choose to sync. Synced content is used to provide the service — never sold, never used for advertising, never used to train anything.

Forms you submit. If you contact us — for example through the Founding Studio form — we store what you typed (studio name, city, contact details, and your message) so we can reply. That's its only use.

3. Recordings and video

Recordings you capture in the editor stay on your device like everything else. If you share a clip or use event features (such as the Wedding unlock), the clips you upload are hosted so your invitees can view them, and are deleted at the end of the hosting period that comes with your purchase.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by a payment provider; card numbers never touch our servers. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the plan purchased.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with the service providers required to run Choreo (hosting, payments, email), each bound to use it solely to provide the service, or when the law requires it.

6. Retention and deletion

Local data is yours to delete at any time — it's on your device. For accounts, you can delete your account and synced content whenever you like; we remove synced routines and personal data within 30 days. Lead-form submissions are kept only as long as the conversation is live.

7. Children

Studio students view their parts through share links and do not need accounts. Accounts are for adults (18+) or with parental consent where local law allows.

8. Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new date. Questions: reach us through the contact form on the studios page — it lands with a human.
